Standard Services of the Ocean Grove Memorial Home

All of these general items and services will be provided according to your individual needs if you choose a “Traditional” funeral. If you don't choose a traditional funeral, you should mention items of specific personal importance and we'll discuss those items.

SERVICES

• A licensed funeral director available 24 hours a day.

• Transferral from the place of death to the funeral home.

• Embalming and scientific professional preparation and care.

• Personal care and professional application of cosmetics.

• Dressing and placement of the decedent's body in the casket.

• Counseling and consultation regarding funeral arrangements.

• Composing and inserting newspaper notices.

• Obtaining, completing and filing the Doctor's Certificate of Death.

• Obtaining the burial (cremation) permit and certified copies of the D.C.

• Arrangements and consultation with or notification to:

  • Clergyman

  • Cemetery

  • Fraternal Organizations or Lodges for their services

  • Professional pallbearers

  • Florist

  • Social Security Administration

  • Veteran's Administration

• Arrangement of the floral display.

• Attendant on duty during calling hours.

• Supervision of the funeral service by a licensed funeral director.

• Accompaniment by a licensed funeral director to the place of final disposition.

• Advance payment for items discussed at the arrangement conference.

• Other specific services as discussed at the arrangement conference.
  

The USE OF OUR OWNED FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT are included, when available, with the services that you purchase and may include but are not limited to:

The use of the funeral home facilities during...

• The arrangement conference.

• Holding the remains until the final disposition.

• Embalming or sanitary care.

• The calling hours.

• The funeral ceremony.

We are prepared to provide assistance in achieving any type of final disposition, including earth burial, cremation, entombment, burial at sea or any other legal method.

Additionally, upon your request, we can provide a very wide variety of Personalized Stationery and other printed items.

An unlimited variety of floral arrangements.

An unlimited variety of personalized granite or bronze grave markers and plot monuments.

A wide variety of personalized sheet or cast bronze, marble, wood, cloissone, polycarbonate or cultured stone cremation urns.

A free Obituary posted on the World Wide Web that anyone online may visit and read.

Special transportation arrangements and service with or without a ceremony at a distant location either personally or through a network of courteous and ethical independent funeral directors throughout all of North America.
